From now till 9th February, there will be a special big-scale night market going on at Chinatown where you can buy your New Year goodies, decor and clothes.
Snaking across a few streets, the Chinatown night market is opened till 3am on 10th February 2013 where it's rumoured to be the best time for getting great bargains as the stall holders are rushing to clear off all their stocks to go home, the night market always enjoy brisk and good business during Chinese New Year.
There will also be a Chinese New Year Countdown together with stage performance that people can enjoy after their reunion dinner on the 9th of February. For the best place to soak up the atmosphere and to squeeze with the crowd, Chinatown is definitely the place to be!
Another place to go from 8th to 16th February will be River Hongbao where you can enjoy the festivities with cultural performances, food stalls and a smaller scale night market.
On the 8th and 9th, there will also be fireworks display at 8pm and 12am respectively.
