I didn't think about taking pictures here until we were leaving so here are the few scanty snapshots of Vintry which is located at Clarke Quay. The unique selling point of this place is that you can order wine by tasting portions of 25ml, 75ml and a full glass at 150ml.
The wine my friend chose for me was from the Margaret River Region and I must say it was definitely an excellent wine. The acidity and notes of the wine were well balanced, leaving a very smooth and pleasant aftertaste. A 150ml portion costs $36 and hence, it isn't cheap but was worth an experience.
They do serve water promptly with the wines and here's a snapshot of where we were seating with a window view of bustling Clarke Quay.
This picture is from my seat, showcasing a bit of the decor and entrance.
This view was from the back of my seat, you can see the shelves of wines on the right, there is also a wine cellar at the back storing the more premium wines and on the left side of the picture, behind the bar, the wine dispenser is called the "Enomatic Wine-Serving Systems propelled by its array of 32 wines-by-the glass, notably Singapore's largest selection of wines-by-the-glass" as quoted from vintry.com.sg.
The staff were friendly and if you are looking for an evening away from the bustling crowds in a busy area like Clarke Quay, here is probably right for you.
They also do have some promotions by the bottle and it's at $59++ per bottle for a Chilean Wine.
I did not try the food so hence no reviews on that. If you happen to be working around Clarke Quay, you can drop by for the affordable $15 5-course lunch set @ Vintry.
