New Year Eve Dinner @ Little Diner

 $20.12 ++ Special Platter of their most famous appetizers. The items were luke warm and I believe if it had been served piping hot, it would have been much nicer. Special mention for the wings as they were marinated nicely.

Complimentary Apple Cider that comes with the main course ordered on their New Year Specials Menu.

Portion was big, chicken was a little bloody but overall still tender. Some parts were quite dry so it got a little too much to eat. I like the carrots the most, as for the rest, it was passable but didn't live up to the hype.

Surf and Turf....hmmm...this was actually a let down. I didn't find the stewed tomatoes, salad, spiced crab, steak or mashed potato any good. The steak was too tough on the surface and it took quite a bit of chewing before it can be swallowed. It was pretty tasteless too. All in all, I felt that this was a disappointment :( (Because I was really looking forward to it!)

Wasn't too dry and they kindly accomodated to our request for the scoop of Vanilia ice cream which wasn't included initially.


I would say that service is pretty good but the food can be a lot better or maybe my expectations were raised due to the feedback I saw earlier by other customers. We didn't try their regular menu this time for the main courses so all is not lost...perhaps, they would have fared better on the regular main courses. :)
